Silencio

Gamma

Say Hello to the biggest eVTOL in the History of the TU Munich

Our Design

SILENCIO Gamma is a 100% electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft especially designed to be ultra-quiet. It has two independent powertrains for hover and cruise, combining the simplicity of a quadcopter configuration and the thigh cruise efficiency of a fixed-wing aircraft.

It is designed from scratch via a thoughtful, modular design process and built with lightweight, high-strength materials with state-of-the art manufacturing techniques.

KEY FEATURES

SILENCIO Gamma, the third configuration of the SILENCIO series, has been specifically designed to excel at maximum efficiency.

STRUCTURAL DIMENSIONS

The aircraft is primarily composed of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) and glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) to achieve a lightweight design. Ply- and balsa wood are implemented to provide stability and robustness to the structure. The two hover boom mounts were 3D printed.
